OpenELIS and open source LIMS; Bayesian statistics articles; cool TiddlyWiki plugins

  • Busy couple of weeks with lots to do at work and lots of other stuff going on too
  • Set up an instance of OpenELIS (incomplete notes here, aiming to take you right from the beginning of the process of setting up an online Web service securely); also my thoughts on criteria for evaluating open source laboratory information systems
  • Assembled various interesting Bayesian statistics articles following my talk which seemed to go OK; makes you look at this kind of study rather sceptically
  • Discovered more cool things you can do with TiddlyWiki, like including charts and diagrams
