Automatically email yourself tomorrow’s calendar

I sometimes have early meetings and it is nice to check while still in bed. This uses a PowerShell script to send an email containing tomorrow’s calendar events to a specified email address.

Create the PowerShell script: Send-OutlookCalendarEmail.ps1:

Run it to check - you should get an email:

You can add this to Task Scheduler.

• Open Task Scheduler
• Create Task
• General
  • Give task a descriptive name
  • Run whether user is logged on or not
• Triggers
  • Weekly, select Monday to Thursday, 5pm, enabled
• Actions
  • Start a program
  • Program/script: C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe
  • Add arguments: -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "C:\Users\your.name\full\path\to\folder\Send-OutlookCalendarEmail.ps1" -RecipientEmail "name@domain.tld"
  • Start in: C:\Users\your.name\full path\Desktop
• Conditions: Wake the computer to run this task
• Settings: tick all except one about deleting it
